Hello friends. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been watching Nancy Ray’s book club scopes each week on Periscope. She’s had a book club going for a little while now but this is the first one that I’ve participated in. We’re currently reading the book 168 hours by Laura Vanderkam. I’ve read 3 of Laura’s other books and I would highly recommend all of them. Her books are so practical, insightful, and full of research and facts.
So, what I actually wanted to talk about today is an interesting activity that Vanderkam includes in the book. She mentions the idea of creating a list of 100 dreams that you would like to do or achieve during your life. Some of them can be as simple as trying a new restaurant in your city or as challenging as attending Carnival in Brazil.
After reading this chapter about the ‘list of 100 dreams’ I quickly found myself scouring the internet to see what other people were including on their lists. I found that very few people were able to think up 100 things to put on their lists and in fact, many people had somewhere between 20-50 dreams (which is fine too).
While my list is still a work in progress….I wanted to give you a little preview. I also found that this task became less intimidating when I decided to break up my list into a few different categories. For example, travel, books, easy to accomplish goals, etc.
Here are a few of mine….
